Senior Pet Care

Just as no two pets are alike, “senior” status varies according to an animal’s breed and life experiences. The key to providing the appropriate care at the right time is understanding the stage of life your pet is experiencing.

Senior Pet CareAs your pet ages, we recommend performing screens for arthritis, kidney and liver function, heart disease, diabetes, thyroid problems, and hypertension.  We take the time to make sure you have the information you need to take preventive steps to help keep your pet healthy and vibrant.

From routine screenings, we can help you to better understand your aging pet to develop a senior wellness plan tailored to your pet.  The senior wellness plan for your pet may include dietary supplements, along with special nutrition and exercise to prolong happy and vigorous participation in your family’s life.
